Data Deletion

How to disconnect Gmail and request deletion of your Feron account and stored data.

1. Disconnect Gmail inside Feron

  1. Open Feron and go to Connections.
  2. Open your Gmail connection and choose Disconnect.

On disconnect, Feron:

Disconnecting removes the connection and its tokens. It does not, by itself, delete conversations or routine drafts you previously created that may contain email-derived content, and it does not delete drafts Feron already created in your Gmail account. To remove stored account data, use Step 3; to remove Gmail drafts, delete them in Gmail.

2. Revoke Feron in your Google Account

To remove access directly from Google:

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  2. Select Feron.
  3. Choose Remove access.

3. Request account and stored-data deletion

Our team handles account deletion on request. To delete your account, connection data, conversations, and routine drafts and records, email privacy@feron.io from your Feron account address with the subject "Data deletion request." We verify your identity before deleting data.

4. Deletion and retention

After verifying your request, we delete stored tokens, connection data, conversations, and routine drafts and records from our active systems. Copies may persist in database backups until those backups age out on our hosting platform's backup cycle, after which they are no longer recoverable. Some records may be retained where required by law; where that applies, we retain only what is necessary and for no longer than required.

Deletion has no published completion period. Ask for a timeframe when you submit your request.

Email content

Feron does not keep a copy of your mailbox. Email content may remain in saved conversations and drafts until those records are deleted. See the Gmail Connector page for details of what Feron stores.
